Flight.

This week in the Tosswill Centre we were learning about flight through exploration. We pretended to be flying rockets and planes by using cardboard boxes. We blew bubbles and watched them float. We dropped balloons to see how fast they fell. We made paper planes and drew pictures of aeroplanes or rockets. We did long jumps in the sand pit to see if we could take off and Miss Howes asked us to make predictions about which would explode first a mentos and coke or mentos and lemonade.

Reading time activities.

At reading time when we are not reading with the teacher we get to choose different activities. We can build with lego, make collages, drink our milk, write on the whiteboard and do puzzles. Right now we are very lucky to have Miss Howes our student teacher here so we have two teachers everyday.
